Charlie Kaminski was the Dean of Business, Science, Mathematics and Technology at Berkshire Community College from 2004 until he passed away in early 2019. Charlie was a great believer in the power of education to change lives. He advocated for his students and secured many grants to help them enter STEM fields. Some of his proudest moments were presenting the names and stories of his students at the BCC Awards Night. He was a brilliant man, a kind and thoughtful colleague and most importantly, a friend. He was beloved by all those who had the good fortune to work with and know him. Charlie will be profoundly missed at BCC, and he will also be missed in the Berkshires; this scholarship has been funded through the vision and generosity his friends and family.
