Ellen Ruberto Scholar Award

The Ellen Ruberto Scholar Award is intended to assist promising full-time, female, traditional age students who are committed to pursuing a degree or certificate at Berkshire Community College. This scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates leadership qualities, is engaged in co-curric ular activities, and has an interest in improving the community. This scholarship is funded by former Pittsfield Mayor James Ruberto in memory of his wife Ellen. Ellen attended BCC on the Common, earning an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts in 1966. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master of Arts degree, and a Master of Business Administration degree.
