New World Fund Scholarship

The New World Fund Scholarship is intended to support new immigrants who have been in the United States for five years or less and have proved to be promising students with finacial need who are dedicated to pursuing a degree at Berkshire Community College. The scholarship recognizes qualities that Mr. Dickler embodied as a young man: academic excellence, leadership and a concern for the rights and needs of others. This scholarship is funded by Abby Pratt of West Stockbridge in memory of her father, Gerald Dickler, a New York City attorney and son of immigrants. This award is managed by Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
