Gail MacMillan Scholarship

The Gail MacMillian Scholarship is intended to assist promising students who are graduating from Berkshire Community College and transferring to a bachelor’s degree program in the Liberal Arts. Recipients of this award have shown a solid commitment to academic achievement and a dedication to furthering their education. A ’78 alumna of BCC, Gail had a lifelong passion for working with young people. She enjoyed a distinguished career as an educator, serving at schools and universities in the United States, as well as in Austria, Morocco and Thailand. Gail died in 2012. This scholarship was endowed with a bequest from the estate of Gail MacMillan ’78, gifts from her brother Carl MacMillan, ’75, and further supported by gifts from Gail’s family and friends.
