Karen Canfield Border Scholarship

The Karen Canfield Border Scholarship is intended to assist students who have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing a degree or certification at Berkshire Community College. The recipient of this award has successfully completed at least one semester of study. The sponsors of this award have a significant interest in supporting students with financial need. It was endowed by Laurie and Mark Humphrey, former students of Professor Canfield Border. Karen passed away in 2022 and is remembered as a highly regarded faculty member by those who worked with, or were educated by, her during her four decades of teaching at BCC.
