Faith N. Mong Scholarship

The Faith N. Mong Scholarship is intended to assist promising students with financial need who are dedicated to pursuing a degree at Berkshire Community College. The sponsor of this award has a significant interest in supporting students who have graduated from Pittsfield High School and are committed to pursuing a career in the Natural Sciences, Teaching or a Health related field. This scholarship was endowed by Faith N. Mong in 2002, and further supported with contributions by family and friends made in her memory. Faith Mong was an administrator and instructor at BCC from 1981 until her retirement in 1997. An avid supporter of education and scholarships, she truly exemplified a personal belief in service, as exhibited through her contributions and acts of goodness, generosity and kindness. She was a devoted member of BCC’s Alumni and Friends organization and a coordinator for the Berkshire Quilt Festival.
