James D. Border Memorial Scholarship

The James D. Border Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student who has shown a commitment to pursuing a degree in the Humanities or Social Sciences at Berkshire Community College. Recipients of this award will have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate the ability to think outside the box, compassion for others in the community, and a vision of making a difference in the world. This scholarship was endowed by family and friends in memory of James Durning Border, Professor Emeritus of History at BCC.
